The main goal of Akwaaba Esaase is to support the Esaase Christian School and Orphanage in Ghana in the implementation of its projects and, long term, to enable the school to become financially independent.
To achieve this we try to:
· sponsor the schooling of orphaned children or children from poor families (see the section ‘Sponsorship’);
· collect funds for specific projects that have been carefully planned in advance (see the section ‘Future Projects’);
· organise regular activities (selling of traditional Ghanaian objects, participation in a range of cultural events etc.);
· recruit volunteers wishing to teach at the school and take part in an intercultural exchange (see the section ‘Volunteer Work’).
